- 100g of ground almond
- 50g of sugar
How to bake it!
- Preheat the oven at 220°C
- Melt the butter and mix it with the ground almond and sugar until the mixture doubles in size and becomes white. Add the eggs to this mixture.
- Line a tart pan with the puff pastry and pierce it with a fork.
- Peal the pears, deseed them and cut them into slivers.
- Melt the chocolate in a pan or in the microwave with a bit of milk and cover the puff pastry with it.
- Pour the almond mixture over it and then arrange the pears nicely on the top of the tart.
- Bake for about 30min (until the bottom of the tart is cooked. Be careful not to overcook it).
Tips and Tricks
- If you melt the chocolate using a microwave, make sure to use milk and stir the chocolate quite often so as to obtain a smooth mixture.
- The tart is nice served either cold or warmed slightly if you fancy a melting soft tart.
